EDA and its members celebrate the International Recycling Day

This past May 17th was International Recycling Day: and EDA, along with its members, have a special place in their hearts for it.

Although EDA was created to promote the activities, experiences and good practices related to the demolition industry, it has significantly evolved in the years since its foundation.

One of the most prominent changes was the focus put on sustainability, green energy and recycling in the demolition industry. In particular, this 2023, EDA has put in motion two projects related to recycling in demolition, thus contributing its knowledge and experience to the betterment of the sector.

The first is the Guide about Recycling Equipment for Construction and Demolition, which aims to provide useful information on the topic.

On the other hand, EDA has expanded its working groups by creating a Working Group on Recycled Products. Centred around the topic in question, it will begin its course in September of this year.

The publication related to it, the Guide about Recycled Products, will be available to the public in early 2024.
